Poole being the largest natural Harbour in the UK and home to Sunseeker is a regular yacht survey location for us.

Yacht and Marine Surveys in the Poole Harbour area are local and regular for us. We therefore charge minimal travelling expenses for surveys in and around the Harbour including yacht surveys in Christchurch.
Poole Harbour is located on the western side of the Solent and offfers good shelter and easy entry at all tides.
There are several marinas in the Harbour:
- Salterns Marina
- Parkstone Yacht Club Haven
- Poole Quay Boat Haven
- Lake Yard Marina
- Sunseeker International Marina (this yard is concerned with Sunseeker only)
- Cobbs Quay
- Poole Yacht Club
- Davis’s Boatyard
We can attend any of the above as well at the many smaller locations and moorings.
Information about marine, yacht and boat surveys in Poole Harbour
Most surveys require a lift of the hull for either sea trial (a lift in) or for inspection of the underwater hull. The alternative can be drying out which is possible in a small number of cases within Poole harbour.
The yards listed above mostly have some kind of lifting faculty. Be it a crane or yacht travel hoist. The larger hoists being at Lake Yard and Salterns.
